Leadership is not management and management is not leadership. Both are needed but have different roles, functions and expectations. So often leadership has not been afforded the specifics, consistent and measurable expectations that is expected of the leaders. My times CEO provide a little of both when they want. But how does that support the vision, mission and values identified for the company. When those key cornerstones are not in place, many other key documented responsibilities are under provided. Which is often times the beginning of a negative avalanche of other unnecessary issues. It is in our DNA, the need and value and allegiance to solid right leadership. You can be that… Our not?
